It happened on a business flight home to Orange County from New York. As all great ideas do, the spark shot forward in my mind as I was relaxing in my seat (listening to Philip Glass) so I had to quickly rip open my carry-on in search of pen and paper.
For weeks prior I had been filling my head with thoughts of ‘how can we give clients the edge they need?’ and then all of a sudden - I had it!
Roughly an hour later I held before my eyes a chicken-scratched company mission complete with Venn diagrams that gave me an intuitive sense of satisfaction like nothing I've ever experienced.
I received a puzzled look from the woman next to me who beamed: “whatever you’re working on young man, it’s obvious you’re passionate!”
I went on to explain that the idea came as a result of years of study and experience not only in strategic marketing but in its foundational disciplines: psychology, sociology and economics.
